I chose this template because it is simple, and I am just starting out learning how to create a blog. When I become more comfortable and more creative, I am sure I will start to make my blog more exciting and appealing. But for now, this is a good starting point for me. I do not want to be caught up in the flash and dash too soon.

Looks great, nothing wrong with going simple. Just as a suggestion, your profile picture might also look great behind the title.

ReplyDeleteYou can find lots of royalty-free images and textures on various websites. Some are very subtle and you might be able to find something that complements your theme that you could put in the background - just a thought.
I agree with you sometimes we get caught up in the image more than the contents. its better to start out with something simple, I like your blog the simplicity goes well with the title.
